The Geoff Boyes International Student Leadership Awards are presented by Ryerson University-Canada to alleviate financial difficulties for those brilliant students who will begin full-time post-secondary education at Ryerson.
Post-secondary education in the RU would mainly serve as a means of obtaining the skills, training, and knowledge required to join their desired career.
Applicants must have been regularly enrolled in full-time high school studies and must be enrolled for the first time in a post-secondary institution (i.e. at least three Ontario Grade 12 U/M courses or provincial/international Canadian equivalents in the standard secondary school year 2020-2021).
Applicants must be accepted to an undergraduate degree programme and must comply with any or more of the requirements set out in the official admission offer.
International students must be candidates.
Applicants are expected to present a sufficient standard of proof of English Language Proficiency.

Method of Application: Applicants are required to take admission at the University. After taking confirmation, seekers will be automatically considered for the studentship.
You must submit all the following documents:
- An essay or project summary: this may be a piece of creative writing or a summary of any creative project which you may have undertaken. It must reflect your capacity for original thought and creative ability (max 750 words).
- Two (2) letters of reference:
- Academic reference letter that confirms your scholastic abilities. This reference may also speak to your leadership/creative endeavours.
- The reference letter should address your leadership/creative endeavours. It should not verify academic achievement.
